Unibody Macbook Pro Glass Screen Cover Replacement - 13 Inch

Apple tried to charge me upwards of $400 to replace this glass, even though the underlying LCD was fine! Ordered this and replaced it just fine using my girlfriends hair dryer as a heat gun. I used a flimsy food lion MVP card and the suction cup from my GPS to pull the old screen off. I hetded the sticky tape on the new glass with the hair dryer before applying and it looks brand new! Thanks!

While I was initially nervous about replacing my own busted screen cover, the reasonable price of the part, the huge cost of getting it replaced and a few helpful videos helped me to decide to bite the bullet. The new screen cover was installed in less then an hour and my MacBook looks like new.

Product Description This is a replacement front bezel and panel assembly (replacement for original glass panel) for the 13" Macbook Pro Unibody model. Note this is a replacement part, not an original part. Apple does not sell the Glass for these units. This replacement is a glass replacement that once installed will have the same quality and look as the original glass. The glass includes pre-attached adhesive strips. The size of the glass is based on the size of the viewable LCD screen measured diagonally. To make sure you are ordering the correct part, we recommend measuring from the top left of the screen (this does not include the black border, just the top left most pixel) to the bottom right of the screen.

This screen was a huge money saver for me. It installed in just minutes and works perfectly, just like the original screen did before it was cracked. I was a bit worried as to how well it would be packaged, but it was very well packaged, and arrived just fine. And to think a repair shop wanted to charge over 200 just to replace the screen.

You can use V.6 model in place of B156XW02 V.2 BOTTOM LEFT CONNECTOR. Everyone selling this item on Amazon, as well as the entire internet, states you MUST use a replacement screen with the EXACT SAME model number. WRONG!! This model actually works just fine. The seller sent me the V.6 instead of the V.2. I installed it instead of going through the hassle of returning it and it works perfectly. This is used for a minimum of 4 hours a day and has been for about a month. Hopefully, this review will save somebody the headache in searching for a replacement LCD.
